Good piece in the times covering a study that suggests that multitasking is counter-productive. Specifically discusses the concept of managing technology rather than letting technology manage you (i.e. checking email manually at less frequent intervals, rather than letting it interrupt you constantly, and of course, that enemy of productivity, instant messaging).
